The Real Housewives of Potomac Recap: During my childhood days, I planned to run away from home. Honestly, it was quite a silly tantrum that I threw that day. Then I threw some Welch’s grape juice containers and puzzle pieces and set out to start a new journey in my neighbor’s living room upstairs.
Later on, after having several cans of the juice, my mind came back to the senses. I realized how I wasn’t at all prepared to set out on a new journey yet. It was unmanageable to make myself move past the Harlem row street where we lived at that moment. I shopped my little self and went straight back to my mom’s floor. And there, I found the same chores and dinner that I had left behind when thinking of leaving the house. Oh! Such strong emotions and memory alone are something that I assume I can’t forget. Ever!
Honestly, those emotions were kind of the closest one to how Robyn and Gizelle might be having in this episode of the real housewives of Potomac. They would be going through a range of emotions, and I feel like I can understand them entirely. They kind of get forced for a cast trip. It happened after someone made it pretty clear to them, which would be either the production or Ashley, that their paychecks are likely to get hit for this. The face of Robyn Dixon in this episode at the funeral was worth watching. Honestly, I’ve never seen someone making such a face during a funeral. It felt as if her expression’s warmth has faded. She had come with a bold getup for dinner. It was screaming all over, “ a day for running errands and washing for the soccer mom.”
Here, in the real housewives of the Potomac, even Gizelle was with the watch. You would notice how Gizelle gets all thunderstruck with the situation where she sleeps with Judy Winslow from family matters in the attic. But I think there was nothing else that wendy could do considering such short notice for Gizelle and Robyn’s visit. After all, Wendy didn’t know beforehand about their short trip to her place. However, I am amazed how Wendy calmly deals with the complaints, huffing, and puffing. However, I feel there’s more to it which we will see in the next week.

The Real Housewives of Potomac
Anyways, let’s return to this week in the real housewives of Potomac for now. It’s the continuation of the last episode where there was sparring with greenery and third parties working to solve the ever-increasing conflict between Mia and Candiace. The main thing that always gets to Candiace, whether it’s with Mia or even Ashley, is that she feels that Mia can get away with anything. She thinks that Mia gets away quickly even after taking loads of jabs and get all the rights to punch back, and all those hyper reactions for the jabs lie in colorism. It’s even discussed in the real housewives of Potomac reunion.
Are you aware of my views on Candiace? The thing is, she isn’t entirely wrong (as per my opinion). I don’t believe that Candiace would have been able to get any after saying stuff similar to what Karen had said so far in the season. I mean, didn’t you see Karen implying that Gizelle has STDs while sitting at the table. It was all without any harsh pushback.

Along with all the discrepancies present, Candiace’s jarring insults are that she generally puts everything about people and their worthiness. When it comes to speaking to a woman in a way that isn’t exactly nice, just because she was a stripper isn’t suitable. It isn’t precisely Mia’s dig. Instead, it’s your views on sex that works in a general way. This topic again shows up during the time when Ashley calls out Mia while using the term ‘slaveholder’ for Michael. Although the actual language was overseer, we can go with this as it has the same concept. Many reasons frustrate her besides the antagonizing behaviour of Mia. And Mia does dare to torment her, as a matter of fact! Although Candiace says that Mia is a classist because she flaunts her income status, she’s also of the view that there is no place for Mia in such a circle.

One more thing is that Mia is too overwhelmed with her boss status and assumes herself to be so rich. Did someone tell her that $450,000 per year isn’t exactly rich? (Being on Twitter could have helped her get to know this). But even Wendy flexes her three degrees during the last season. And even the dream home/home renovation projects that these women show us, again and again, show that they are in pursuit of a lifestyle. It can be considered classless, but how classist? And it doesn’t suit suitable, especially coming from the same woman how part-time HGTV special focuses on designing a million-dollar-home that’s away from her mom as a plotline.
When it comes to mom, my suggestion for Mia would be to be cautious on how she navigates about her mom; about how she moves forward in the show. They have some kind of a tense dynamic among them and have the ensemble cast factor. Honestly, it feels like a disaster recipe. What I think here is that Mia’s problems shouldn’t be used as weapons against her. She’s working hard to forge forward from her resentments and hurts.

Several people agree that Candiace could do everything better- from managing her husband, who thinks these contests aren’t productive. In such a situation, Candiace feels victimized. But of course, Ashley, our light-skinned Tasmanian devil, quickly went for work at dinner and increased the tension between Candiace and herself.
It is noticeable even in the last season of the real housewives of Potomac that Candiace is not over the fact that Ashley put herself for legal proceedings between Monique and her in the previous season. However, Ashley still believes Candiace is accountable for such events (between Candiace and Mia during the conviction reinforcing day) and won’t come to terms with it. I am very clear about Michael Darby and Bravo’s willingness for his placement on TV screens. However, the language Candiace has chosen for defining their relationship is quite telling. For engaging perspectives, it shouldn’t be so reflective, so that uphold white supremacism.
Nonetheless, she repeatedly does it with her decry that colorism isn’t good, which affects her very much. I hope that someday she gets to understand that all of it matters. Moreover, she’s pretty intelligent, so she will grasp it anyway. It can happen if she becomes more mature emotionally and tries to understand such concepts with logical thinking and not emotions.
Next week in the real housewives of Potomac, you will see G stirring up trouble. We will also see Chris’s penis and Wendy and Robyn escalate. Let’s wait till next week, and we shall see what happens next.
